Abstract
Provided are dual-strapped utility garments (“strapvests”) that includes a first main strap and a second main strap having one or more of a variety of compartments for storing objects and tools for convenient access to a wearer, and optionally includes a rotatable portion on one or both of the first main strap and the second main strap.
Claims18
A strapvest comprising:
- a first main strap comprising an exterior face adapted to face outward from a wearer and an interior face opposite the exterior face, wherein the first main strap comprises a shoulder portion adapted to run up over a shoulder of the wearer, and a torso portion adapted to run down a front torso of the wearer;
- and
- a second main strap comprising an exterior face adapted to face outward from the wearer and an interior face opposite the exterior face, wherein the second main strap comprises a shoulder portion adapted to run up over another shoulder of the wearer, and a torso portion adapted to run down the front torso of the wearer;
- wherein:
- (i) the shoulder portion of the first main strap and the shoulder portion of the second main strap are connected by a strap;
- (ii) the torso portion of the first main strap comprises a rotatable portion that is connected to the first main strap at a first juncture at a first end of the rotatable portion and at a second juncture at a second end of the rotatable portion opposite the first end;
- and/or
- the torso portion of the second main strap comprises a rotatable portion that is connected to the second main strap at a first juncture at a first end of the rotatable portion and at a second juncture at a second end of the rotatable portion opposite the first end;
- and
- (iii) the rotatable portion comprises one or more compartments.

A strapvest comprising:
- a first main strap comprising an exterior face adapted to face outward from a wearer and an interior face opposite the exterior face, wherein the first main strap comprises a shoulder portion adapted to run up over a shoulder of the wearer, and a torso portion adapted to run down a front torso of the wearer;
- and
- a second main strap comprising an exterior face adapted to face outward from the wearer and an interior face opposite the exterior face, wherein the second main strap comprises a shoulder portion adapted to run up over another shoulder of the wearer, and a torso portion adapted to run down the front torso of the wearer;
- wherein:
- (i) the shoulder portion of the first main strap and the shoulder portion of the second main strap are connected by a strap;
- (ii) the first main strap and/or the second main strap comprises one or more compartments;
- and
- (iii) the first main strap and/or the second main strap comprises a first fabric layer, and at least one of the one or more compartments comprises a second fabric layer that is connected to the first fabric layer, wherein the interior of the compartment is situated between the first fabric layer and the second fabric layer.

- a first main strap comprising an exterior face adapted to face outward from a wearer and an interior face opposite the exterior face, wherein the first main strap comprises a shoulder portion adapted to run up over a shoulder of the wearer, and a torso portion adapted to run down a front torso of the wearer;

- (ii) the one or more detachable compartments comprises a sliding compartment.

- a stabilizing belt comprising a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the stabilizing belt is connected to the back portion of the first main strap and the second end of the stabilizing belt is connected to the back portion of the second main strap;
- wherein the shoulder portion of the first main strap and the shoulder portion of the second main strap are connected by a strap.
