Display apparatus having light-emitting element and light-receiving element

A display apparatus comprising:

• a light-receiving element and a first light-emitting element over a substrate,
• wherein the light-receiving element comprises:
• a first pixel electrode over a first insulating layer;
• a first organic layer over the first pixel electrode;
• a common electrode comprising a first portion overlapping with the first pixel electrode with the first organic layer positioned therebetween;
• a protective layer covering the first portion of the common electrode;
• a spacer having a light-transmitting property with respect to visible light, the spacer comprising a portion overlapping with the first pixel electrode with the protective layer, the common electrode, and the first organic layer positioned therebetween;
• and
• a light-blocking layer over the spacer, the light-blocking layer having an opening overlapping with the first pixel electrode,
• wherein the first light-emitting element comprises:
• a second pixel electrode over the first insulating layer;
• a second organic layer over the second pixel electrode;
• the common electrode comprising a second portion overlapping with the second pixel electrode with the second organic layer positioned therebetween;
• and
• the protective layer covering the second portion of the common electrode, wherein the first organic layer comprises a photoelectric conversion layer, and wherein the second organic layer comprises a light-emitting layer.
