Abstract
A method and apparatus for operation in NTN is provided. Method for operation in NTN includes receiving system information including a first common offset1 in the first NR cell, transmitting the PUSCH of the first NR cell in the PUSCH transmission slot determined based on the first common offset1, receiving an RRC control message including a second common offset1 in the first NR cell and transmitting the PUSCH of the second NR cell in the PUSCH transmission slot determined based on the second common offset1.

A method by a terminal, the method comprising:
- receiving, by the terminal, system information, wherein the system information comprises:
- a first parameter related to scheduling;
- a second parameter related to scheduling;
- and
- a third parameter related to timing advance;
- transmitting, by the terminal, in a specific slot, a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) in response to a Random Access Response (RAR);
- and
- starting, by the terminal, in a first symbol, a contention resolution timer,
- wherein the specific slot is determined based on a sum of:
- a product of the first parameter related to scheduling and a first integer;
- and
- a second integer,
- wherein the first symbol is determined based on a sum of:
- the second parameter related to scheduling;
- and
- a first value related to timing advance,
- wherein the first value related to timing advance is determined based on a sum of:
- the third parameter related to timing advance;
- and
- a second value that is related to timing advance and estimated by the terminal,
- wherein the first integer is determined based on a subcarrier spacing, and
- wherein the second integer is determined based on a specific field in the RAR.
A terminal in a wireless communication system, the terminal comprising:

- transmit, in a specific slot, a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) in response to a Random Access Response (RAR);
- and
- start, in a first symbol, a contention resolution timer,
- wherein the specific slot is determined based on a sum of:
- a product of the first parameter related to scheduling and a first integer;
- and
- a second integer,
- wherein the first symbol is determined based on a sum of:
- the second parameter related to scheduling;
- and
- a first value related to timing advance,
- wherein the first value related to timing advance is determined based on a sum of:
- the third parameter related to timing advance;
- and
- a second value that is related to timing advance and estimated by the terminal,
- wherein the first integer is determined based on a subcarrier spacing, and
- wherein the second integer is determined based on a specific field in the RAR.
A method by a base station, the method comprising:
