Abstract
Methods and systems for techniques for coverage enhancement in wireless networks are disclosed. In one example aspect, the method includes determining, by a network device, one or more time domain windows associated with time domain resources based on capability information of a wireless device, indicating, by the network device, the one or more time domain windows, and receiving, by the network device, from the wireless device, a message according to the one or more indicated time domain windows.
Claims7
A method for wireless communication, comprising:
- determining, by a network device, one or more nominal time domain windows associated with time domain resources based on capability information of a wireless device, wherein the capability information includes a maximum time domain window size supported by the wireless device, wherein the one or more nominal time domain windows include at least one of a nominal time domain window size or a starting point of a nominal time domain window, wherein the nominal time domain window size allows the wireless device to guarantee phase continuity and the nominal time domain window size is less than or equal to the maximum time domain window size;
- indicating, by the network device, the one or more nominal time domain windows;
- and
- receiving, by the network device, from the wireless device, a message according to the one or more indicated time domain windows,
- wherein an actual time domain window size of an actual time domain window is determined by the wireless device within the nominal time domain window to maintain the phase continuity and the actual time domain window is restarted upon occurrence of a predetermined event that includes changes in power control parameters of physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), timing advance of the PUSCH, transmission precoding of the PUSCH, or dynamic switching of a bandwidth part (BWP),
- wherein when only a nominal time domain window is configured and an inter-slot hopping is enabled, the nominal time domain window size is equal to a bundle size for the inter-slot hopping that is performed between nominal time windows.
A method for wireless communication, comprising:
- transmitting, by a wireless device, to a network device, capability information for determining time domain windows associated with time domain resources, wherein the capability information includes a maximum time domain window size supported by the wireless device;
- receiving, by the wireless device, from the network device, an indication of one or more nominal time domain windows, wherein the one or more nominal time domain windows include at least one of a nominal time domain window size or a starting point of a nominal time domain window, wherein the nominal time domain window size allows the wireless device to guarantee phase continuity and the nominal time domain window size is less than or equal to the maximum time domain window size;
- determining, by the wireless device, an actual time domain window size of an actual time domain window in the nominal time domain window to maintain the phase continuity;
- and
- transmitting, by the wireless device, a message according to the one or more nominal time domain windows,
- wherein the actual time domain window is restarted upon occurrence of a predetermined event that includes changes in power control parameters of physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), timing advance of the PUSCH, transmission precoding of the PUSCH, or dynamic switching of a bandwidth part (BWP),
- wherein when only a nominal time domain window is configured and an inter-slot hopping is enabled, the nominal time domain window size is equal to a bundle size for the inter-slot hopping that is performed between nominal time windows.
