UE operation method related to MRS of VRU in wireless communication system

An intelligent transport systems (ITS)-related apparatus related to a vulnerable road user (VRU) in a wireless communication system, the ITS-related apparatus comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one computer memory operably connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations,
• wherein the operations comprise:
• receiving a report related to a VRU awareness message (VAM);
• determining, based on the report, a situation in which the VAM transceiver is located in a dangerous area but the VRU of the VAM transceiver does not possess the VAM transceiver;
• and
• transmitting, based on the situation, a message for the VAM transceiver to enter a temporarily invalid (TI) state to prevent a false alarm from occurring around the VAM transceiver and for preventing revocation of a certificate of the VAM transceiver,
• wherein the TI state is released based on the VRU possessing the VAM transceiver again.

An operating method of a vulnerable road user (VRU) awareness message (VAM) transceiver related to a VRU in a wireless communication system, the operating method comprising:

• transmitting a report related to a VAM, wherein the report includes information related to a situation in which the VAM transceiver is located in a dangerous area but the VRU of the VAM transceiver does not possess the VAM transceiver;
• receiving, based on the report, a message for the VAM transceiver to enter a temporarily invalid (TI) state to prevent a false alarm from occurring around the VAM transceiver and for preventing revocation of a certificate of the VAM transceiver;
• entering, based on the message, the TI state without the revocation;
• and
• releasing the TI state based on the VRU possessing the VAM transceiver again.

A vulnerable road user (VRU) awareness message (VAM) transceiver related to a VRU in a wireless communication system, the VAM transceiver comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one computer memory operably connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations,
• wherein the operations comprise:
• transmitting a report related to a VAM, wherein the report includes information related to a situation in which the VAM transceiver is located in a dangerous area but the VRU of the VAM transceiver does not possess the VAM transceiver;
• receiving, based on the report, a message for the VAM transceiver to enter a temporarily invalid (TI) state to prevent a false alarm from occurring around the VAM transceiver and for preventing revocation of a certificate of the VAM transceiver;
• entering, based on the message, the TI state without the revocation;
• and
• releasing the TI state based on the VRU possessing the VAM transceiver again.
