Abstract
The present invention is about an image encoding/decoding method and apparatus. According to present invention, a method of decoding an image, the method comprising, loading information of a neighboring block of a current block; decoding a current block using the loaded information of the neighboring block; and saving information of the current block that is decoded.
Claims3
An image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus, the method comprising:
- deriving a temporal motion vector candidate of a current block based on a temporal neighboring block of the current block;
- deriving a modified temporal motion vector candidate of the current block based on the temporal motion vector candidate;
- and
- deriving a motion vector candidate list based on the modified temporal motion vector candidate;
- and
- deriving a prediction sample of the current block based on the motion vector candidate list,
- wherein M bits for representing the modified temporal motion vector candidate is less than N bits for representing the temporal motion vector candidate.
An image encoding method performed by an encoding apparatus, the method comprising:
- deriving a temporal motion vector candidate of a current block based on a temporal neighboring block of the current block;
- deriving a modified temporal motion vector candidate of the current block based on the temporal motion vector candidate;
- deriving a motion vector candidate list based on the modified temporal motion vector candidate;
- deriving a prediction sample of the current block based on the motion vector candidate list;
- and
- encoding image information including prediction related information for the current block,
- wherein M bits for representing the modified temporal motion vector candidate is less than N bits for representing the temporal motion vector candidate.
A transmission method for image data, the method comprising:
- obtaining a bitstream of encoded image information, wherein the encoded image information is generated based on deriving a temporal motion vector candidate of a current block based on a temporal neighboring block of the current block, deriving a modified temporal motion vector candidate of the current block based on the temporal motion vector candidate, deriving a motion vector candidate list based on the modified temporal motion vector candidate, deriving a prediction sample of the current block based on the motion vector candidate list, and encoding image information including prediction related information for the current block;
- and
- transmitting the image data comprising the bitstream,
- wherein M bits for representing the modified temporal motion vector candidate is less than N bits for representing the temporal motion vector candidate.
