Abstract
Methods and apparatus related to pulse-shaped and overlapped phase tracking reference signals are disclosed. Signaling that indicates information associated with first pulse shaping is communicated between a first communication device and a second communication device in a wireless communication network. Data with a phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) is generated based on the first pulse shaping, and is transmitted and/or received as pulse-shaped PT-RS and data comprising the PT-RS and data to which second pulse shaping, different from the first pulse shaping, has been applied.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- communicating, by a first communication device with a second communication device in a wireless communication network, signaling that indicates information associated with first pulse shaping;
- and
- transmitting, in the wireless communication network by the first communication device, data with a phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) generated based on the first pulse shaping, as pulse-shaped data and PT-RS, the pulse-shaped data and PT-RS being generated based on second pulse shaping.
A method comprising:
- communicating, by a second communication device with a first communication device in a wireless communication network, signaling that indicates information associated with first pulse shaping;
- and
- receiving, by the second communication device from the first communication device, data with a phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) generated based on the first pulse shaping, as pulse-shaped data and PT-RS, the pulse-shaped data and PT-RS being generated based on second pulse shaping.
An apparatus comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- a non-transitory computer readable storage medium, coupled to the at least one processor, storing programming for execution by the at least one processor, the programming including instructions to cause the apparatus to:
- communicate, with a second communication device in a wireless communication network, signaling that indicates information associated with first pulse shaping;
- and
- transmit, in the wireless communication network, data with a phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) generated based on the first pulse shaping, as pulse-shaped data and PT-RS, the pulse-shaped data and PT-RS being generated based on second pulse shaping.
An apparatus comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- a non-transitory computer readable storage medium, coupled to the at least one processor, storing programming for execution by the at least one processor, the programming including instructions to cause the apparatus to:
- communicate, with a first communication device in a wireless communication network, signaling that indicates information associated with first pulse shaping;
- and
- receive, from the first communication device, data with a phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) generated based on the first pulse shaping, as pulse-shaped data and PT-RS, the pulse-shaped data and PT-RS being generated based on second pulse shaping.
