Public key infrastructure (PKI) systems for validating digitally signed data structures across communication channels are disclosed. A system stores a digitally signed data structure associated with an entity identifier. The digitally signed data structure includes a header that references a digital certificate, a payload including verification claims associated with the entity identifier, and a digital signature cryptographically securing the payload. The system retrieves the digital certificate using the uniform resource identifier. The digital certificate includes a public key corresponding to a private key used to generate the digital signature. The digital certificate chains to a root certificate authority within a PKI. The system validates the digitally signed data structure and authorizes transmission of a message associated with the entity identifier to a user device.
