Secure device information display with authentication using software development kit (SDK)

A mobile phone comprising:

• a processor;
• a display coupled to the processor;
• and
• a non-transitory computer readable medium comprising a mobile application comprising a software development kit (SDK) and instructions, executable by the processor, for implementing operations including:
• transmitting, by the SDK in the mobile application on the mobile phone to a processing computer, an access credential identifier comprising a portion of a credential, the credential comprising a primary account number, wherein the processing computer determines the primary account number and additional data using the portion of the credential, and initiates an authentication process with respect to a user of the primary account number;
• receiving, by the SDK in the mobile application on the mobile phone from the processing computer, the primary account number and the additional data;
• displaying, by the display, via the SDK in the mobile application, the primary account number and the additional data;
• and
• providing by the mobile phone, the primary account number and the additional data to a resource provider computer in a transaction, wherein the resource provider computer is programmed to generate an authorization request message comprising the primary account number and the additional data and transmit the authorization request message to an authorizing entity computer for authorization.

A method comprising:

• receiving, by a processing computer from an application comprising a software development kit (SDK) installed on a mobile phone, a portion of a credential, wherein the credential comprises a primary account number;
• in response to receiving the portion of the credential, obtaining, by the processing computer, the primary account number and additional data associated with the primary account number using the portion of the credential;
• and
• transmitting, by the processing computer to the SDK in the application of the mobile phone, the primary account number and the additional data, wherein the mobile phone is programmed to display the primary account number and the additional data, and provide the primary account number and the additional data to a resource provider computer, which is programmed to generate an authorization request message comprising the primary account number and the additional data and transmit the authorization request message to an authorizing entity computer for authorization.
