Abstract
This wireless communication system comprises: a first wireless communication device that transmits a plurality of first reference signals having controlled directivity by the orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) method in a first period; and a second wireless communication device that transmits a plurality of second reference signals having controlled directivity to the first wireless communication device in a second period, the second reference signals including information relating to directivity and corresponding to any one or more of the first reference signals received from the first wireless communication device.

A terminal, comprising:
- circuitry, which, in operation, generates a first signal and a second signal;
- and
- a transmitter, which, in operation, transmits the first signal from a first panel antenna, and transmits the second signal from a second panel antenna based on a scheme selected from:
- a first scheme with the first signal and the second signal mapped on different frequencies and with a same timing,
- a second scheme with the first signal and the second signal mapped on partially overlapping frequencies with a same timing, and
- a third scheme with the first signal and the second signal mapped on a same frequency with a same timing, wherein,
- the first signal transmitted from the first panel antenna is transmitted with a first beam,
- the second signal arranged in the same time and transmitted from the second panel antenna is transmitted with a second beam,
- in a first mode, information on the first beam is received from a first transmission panel and information on the second beam is received from a second transmission panel, and
- in a second mode, information on the first beam and information on the second beam are received from a single transmission panel.
A communication method, comprising:
- generating a first signal and a second signal;
- and
- transmitting the first signal from a first panel antenna, and transmitting the second signal from a second panel antenna based on a scheme selected from:
An integrated circuit, comprising:
- generation circuitry, which, in operation, controls generating a first signal and a second signal;
- and
- transmission circuitry, which, in operation, controls transmitting the first signal from a first panel antenna, and controls transmitting the second signal from a second panel antenna based on a scheme selected from:
