Abstract
An image display device is disclosed. The image display device includes a memory controller configured to output a first signal and a toggling second signal, a first memory configured to process the first signal based on the second signal, and a second memory, wherein the memory controller performs a Shmoo test on the second signal based on the image display device being turned off, stores data on results of performing the Shmoo test in the second memory, and outputs the second signal based on data stored in the second memory based on the image display device being turned on.
Claims9
An image display device comprising:
- a memory controller configured to output a first signal and a toggling second signal;
- a first memory configured to process the first signal based on the second signal;
- and
- a second memory,
- wherein the memory controller is configured to:
- determine whether a predetermined period has elapsed since a most recently performed Shmoo test based on the image display device being turned off,
- perform a Shmoo test on the second signal based on an elapse of the predetermined period or based on a predetermined condition,
- store data resulting from performing the Shmoo test in the second memory, and
- output the second signal based on the data stored in the second memory based on the image display device being turned on,
- wherein the predetermined condition corresponds to an external power being supplied again to the image display device after a supply of the external power to the image display device is interrupted.
A method performed by an image display device that includes a memory controller configured to output a first signal and a toggling second signal, a first memory configured to process the first signal based on the second signal, and a second memory, the method comprising:
- determining whether a predetermined period has elapsed since a most recently performed Shmoo test based on the image display device being turned off,
- performing a Shmoo test on the second signal based on an elapse of the predetermined period or based on a predetermined condition,
- storing data resulting from performing the Shmoo test in the second memory, and
- outputting the second signal based on the data stored in the second memory based on the image display device being turned on,
- wherein the predetermined condition corresponds to an external power being supplied again to the image display device after a supply of the external power to the image display device is interrupted.
