Wearable recording device and artificial intelligence model

An Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technician assistance system, the assistance system comprising:

• a wearable object comprising an image capture device embedded therein, the image capture devices configured to record video images of a technician performing a task;
• and
• a computing device comprising:
• a memory;
• and
• one or more processors coupled to the memory, implemented in circuitry, and configured to:
• generate, by one or more machine learning models, a knowledge base using the video images recorded by the image capture device and using at least one of structured data or unstructured data obtained from one or more data sources including previously recorded videos of the same task performed by other technicians;
• analyze, by the one or more machine learning models, the video images of the technician performing the task to identify the task being performed and a current step of the task;
• generate, by the one or more machine learning models, using the knowledge base, one or more suggestions related to the task being performed including step-specific guidance for the current step;
• and output the one or more suggestions generated by the one or more machine learning models.
