Feature tracking

One or more processors comprising processing circuitry to:

• determine, using one or more first machine learning models and based at least on image data representative of at least a first image associated with a first time and a second image associated with a second time that is after the first time, at least a tracked feature point that is depicted by the first image and the second image;
• determine, using one or more second machine learning models and based on at least a portion of the image data representative of the second image, at least a detected feature point that is depicted by the second image;
• determine that a distance between the tracked feature point and the detected feature point within the second image is within a threshold distance;
• determine, based at least on the distance being within the threshold distance, a merged feature point that represents both the tracked feature point and the detected feature point;
• and
• cause, based at least on the merged feature point, a machine to navigate within an environment.

A system comprising:

• one or more processors to:
• determine, using one or more first machine learning models and based at least on image data representative of at least a first image associated with a first time and a second image associated with a second time that is after the first time, at least a tracked feature point that is depicted by the first image and the second image;
• determine, using one or more second machine learning models and based on at least a portion of the image data representative of the second image, at least a detected feature point that is depicted by the second image;
• determine that a distance between the tracked feature point and the detected feature point within the second image is within a threshold distance;
• determine, based at least on the distance being within the threshold distance, a merged feature point that represents both the tracked feature point and the detected feature point;
• and
• cause, based at least on the merged feature point, a machine to navigate within an environment.
