Light wrapping effects for avatars

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more computer readable media comprising computer readable code executable by the one or more processors to:
• generate a composite image, comprising computer readable code to:
• render a first texture comprising a first avatar representation of a first subject, wherein the first avatar representation is generated using a blur treatment;
• render a second texture comprising a second avatar representation of the first subject, wherein the second avatar representation is associated with one or more confidence values based on sensor data from which the second avatar representation is generated, and wherein the second texture is rendered over the first texture;
• and
• modify-a level of opacity of a first region of the second texture in accordance with a first confidence value for the first region.

A method comprising:

• generating a composite image by:
• rendering a first texture comprising a first avatar representation of a first subject, wherein the first avatar representation is generated using a blur treatment;
• rendering a second texture comprising a second avatar representation of the first subject, wherein the second avatar representation is associated with one or more confidence values based on sensor data from which the second avatar representation is generated, and wherein the second texture is rendered over the first texture;
• and
• modifying a level of opacity of a first region of the second texture in accordance with a first confidence value for the first region.
