Systems and methods for online traffic filtration by electronic content providers

A system for online network traffic filtration, the system including:

• a data storage device that stores instructions for online network traffic filtration;
• and
• a processor configured to execute the instructions to perform a method including:
• receiving, at a content provider, from a user device, a request for a web page, the request comprising one or more tags associated with the web page;
• generating a content request based on the one or more tags and the web page;
• determining a recipient of the content request based on the one or more tags and the web page;
• transmitting the content request to the determined recipient;
• transmitting, to the device of the user, an electronic content received from the recipient;
• tracking interactions by the user with the electronic content;
• determining a charge to the recipient is to be blocked based on the tracked interactions by the user with the electronic content;
• and
• blocking the charge to the recipient.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to perform a method for online network traffic filtration, the method including:

• receiving, at a content provider, from a user device, a request for a web page, the request comprising one or more tags associated with the web page;
• generating a content request based on the one or more tags and the web page;
• determining a recipient of the content request based on the one or more tags and the web page;
• transmitting the content request to the determined recipient;
• transmitting, to the device of the user, an electronic content received from the recipient;
• tracking interactions by the user with the electronic content;
• determining a charge to the recipient is to be blocked based on the tracked interactions by the user with the electronic content;
• and
• blocking the charge to the recipient.
