Abstract
A management system is a system for managing a processing facility, and includes a foreign substance detector for detecting whether a foreign substance is mixed in a product, and a management device capable of processing information on the foreign substance. The management device acquires the information on the foreign substance from the foreign substance detector, and acquires, based on the information on the foreign substance, information on the state of a processing machine.

A management system comprising:
- a foreign substance detector for detecting whether a foreign substance is mixed in a product manufactured by a processing machine in a processing facility;
- and
- a processor configured to:
- acquire information on the foreign substance from the foreign substance detector;
- infer, based on the information on the foreign substance, a shape of the foreign substance;
- and
- identify a target processing machine, from which the foreign substance has fallen off, from among a plurality of processing machines by matching the inferred shape of the foreign substance against data on parts which constitute the plurality of processing machines, the data being stored in advance, wherein the identification of the target processing machine is acquired as information on a state of the processing machine.

A management method comprising the steps of:
- acquiring, from a foreign substance detector for detecting whether a foreign substance is mixed in a product manufactured by a processing machine in a processing facility, information on the foreign substance;
- inferring, based on the information on the foreign substance, a shape of the foreign substance;
- and
- identifying a target processing machine, from which the foreign substance has fallen off, from among a plurality of processing machines by matching the inferred shape of the foreign substance against data on parts which constitute the plurality of processing machines, the data being stored in advance, wherein the identification of the target processing machine is acquired as information on a state of the processing machine.
