Abstract
Systems and methods for MRI are provided. The methods may include for each slice of a plurality of slices of a subject to be scanned, determining a plurality of radiofrequency (RF) parameters, the plurality of RF parameters including at least one channel parameter corresponding to each of a plurality of channels; determining a slice group based at least in part on the RF parameters corresponding to the plurality of slices, the slice group including at least two slices selected from the plurality of slices; and directing at least a portion of the plurality of channels to excite the slice group based on RF parameters corresponding to the slice group.

A method for controlling magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), implemented on a machine having at least one processing device and at least one storage device, the method comprising:
- for each of two or more excitations of a single slice or a slice group of an object, determining a channel parameter corresponding to a plurality of channels, wherein the channel parameters corresponding to at least two of the two or more excitations are different, and the channel parameter includes at least one of a phase modulation parameter, an amplitude modulation parameter, an excitation power, or a specific absorption ratio (SAR);
- and
- directing at least a portion of the plurality of channels to excite the single slice or the slice group in the two or more excitations based on the channel parameters.
A method for controlling magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), implemented on a machine having at least one processing device and at least one storage device, the method comprising:
- for each slice of a plurality of slices of a subject to be scanned, determining a plurality of radiofrequency (RF) parameters, the plurality of RF parameters including at least one channel parameter corresponding to each of a plurality of channels, the at least one channel parameter corresponding to each of the plurality of channels including an excitation power of the channel for exciting the slice;
- selecting a slice to be excited from the plurality of slices;
- determining a first total excitation power of the plurality of channels for exciting the selected slice;
- in response to determining that the first total excitation power exceeds a total power threshold, determining at least one candidate slice based on the excitation power of each channel of the plurality of channels for exciting each slice of the plurality of slices;
- determining a slice group based on the selected slice and the at least one candidate slice, the slice group including at least two slices selected from the plurality of slices;
- and
- directing at least a portion of the plurality of channels to excite the slice group based on RF parameters corresponding to the slice group.
