Abstract
An example operation includes one or more of determining a degradation of one or more mobile energy storage (MES) and one or more fixed energy storage (FES) for a location at a future time and determining a combined energy capacity of the one or more MES and FES at the future time based on the degradation.

A method performed by a server, the method comprising:
- determining a combined degradation that will occur at a future time for a fixed energy storage (FES) at a location and a mobile energy storage (MES);
- determining that one or more of the MES or the FES will be needed based on an emergency need at a certain time;
- determining a time to initiate charging of one or more of the MES or the FES based on the combined degradation and the certain time;
- and
- initiating the charging of one or more of the MES or the FES.
