Abstract
The present invention relates to compounds which are suitable to be used in mass spectrometry as well as methods of mass spectrometric determination of analyte molecules using said compounds.
Claims8
A compound for quantitative detection of an analyte using mass spectrometric determination,
- wherein said compound comprises a permanent charge,
- wherein said compound is capable of covalently binding to the analyte,
- wherein said compound has a mass m1 and a net charge z1,
- wherein the compound is capable of forming at least one daughter ion having a mass m2<m1 and a net charge z2<z1 after fragmentation by mass spectrometric determination,
- wherein m1/z1<m2/z2;
- wherein the compound is selected from the group consisting of:
