Abstract
A plurality of trigger blocks are described. An embodiment of the trigger block can be implemented as a slide trigger block adapted to shroud a trigger to aid in preventing accidental discharges of a firearm. The slide trigger block can implement slide trigger block can include frame members each having an engagement assembly to removably couple to one another.
Claims20
A trigger block for shrouding a trigger in a trigger guard, the trigger block comprising:
- a first frame member having a first engagement assembly;
- a second frame member having a second engagement assembly adapted to removably mate to the first engagement assembly, the first frame member and the second frame member shrouding the trigger and being located substantially within the trigger guard when mated;
- a first locking member adapted to restrict movement of the first engagement assembly;
- and
- a second locking member adapted to restrict movement of the second engagement assembly.
A trigger block for shrouding a trigger in a trigger guard, the trigger block comprising:
- a first frame member having a first engagement member and a first channel;
- a second frame member having (i) a second engagement member adapted to mate with the first channel, and (ii) a second channel adapted to mate with the first engagement member;
- a first locking member adapted to restrict movement of the first engagement member in the second channel;
- a second locking member adapted to restrict movement of the second engagement member in the first channel;
- and
- the first frame member and the second frame member shrouding the trigger and being located substantially within the trigger guard when mated.
A trigger block for shrouding a trigger in a trigger guard, the trigger block comprising:
- a first frame member having (i) a first engagement member, (ii) a first channel, (iii) a first upper locking mechanism, and (iv) a first lower locking mechanism;
- a second frame member having:
- a second engagement member;
- a second channel;
- a second upper locking mechanism;
- and
- a second lower locking mechanism;
- the first frame member and the second frame member shrouding the trigger in the trigger block when mated;
- a first locking member adapted to restrict movement of the first engagement member in the second channel;
- and
- a second locking member adapted to restrict movement of the second engagement member in the first channel.
