Abstract
A humidifier according to an embodiment includes: a case; and a humidifying assembly disposed in the case and configured to generate mist, wherein the humidifying assembly includes a humidifying chamber defining a space in which water is contained, and first and second ultrasonic vibrators disposed under the humidifying chamber, wherein the humidifying assembly is configured to drive one of the first and second ultrasonic vibrators, or to drive the first and second ultrasonic vibrators with different driving signals, thereby adjusting the direction and shape of mist and providing various mist modes.
Claims16
A humidifier comprising:
- a case;
- and
- a humidifying assembly disposed in the case and configured to generate mist,
- wherein the humidifying assembly comprises:
- a humidifying chamber configured to hold water,
- first and second ultrasonic vibrators configured to atomize water in the humidifying chamber,
- an inlet through which air is introduced into the humidifying chamber,
- an outlet through which mist generated in the humidifying chamber is discharged,
- wherein one of the first and second ultrasonic vibrators is driven at a time, or the first and second ultrasonic vibrators are driven with respective different driving signals,
- wherein the first and second ultrasonic vibrators are spaced below the outlet,
- wherein the different driving signals include a first driving signal to drive the first ultrasonic vibrator, and a second driving signal to drive the second ultrasonic vibrator,
- wherein the humidifier further comprises:
- a first driving circuit configured to supply the first driving signal to the first ultrasonic vibrator;
- a second driving circuit configured to supply the second driving signal to the second ultrasonic vibrator;
- and
- a processor configured to:
- receive feedback about the first driving signal through a first feedback line having an end connected between the first driving circuit and the first ultrasonic vibrator,
- receive feedback about the second driving signal through a second feedback line having an end connected between the second driving circuit and the second ultrasonic vibrator, and
- determine, based on the feedbacks of the first and second driving signals. when a failure occurs in one of the first and second ultrasonic vibrators, and
- wherein, in response to determining that the failure occurred in the one of the first and second ultrasonic vibrators, the processor is configured to:
- maintain, in an off state, the one of the first and second ultrasonic vibrators in which the failure occurred, and
- operate only a remaining one of the first and second ultrasonic vibrators in which the failure did not occur.
A humidifier, comprising:
- a case;
- a humidifying chamber configured to hold water;
- and
- a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators disposed under the humidifying chamber,
- an inlet through which air is introduced into the humidifying chamber, and
- an outlet through which mist generated in the humidifying chamber is discharged,
- wherein the plurality of ultrasonic vibrators include first and second ultrasonic vibrators that are alternatively driven according to a predetermined cycle,
- wherein the first and second ultrasonic vibrators are spaced below the outlet, and
- wherein the humidifier further comprises:
- a first driving circuit configured to supply a first driving signal to the first ultrasonic vibrator;
- a second driving circuit configured to supply a second driving signal to the second ultrasonic vibrator;
- and
- a processor configured to:
- receive feedback regarding the first and second driving signals through first and second feedback lines electrically connected to, respectively, the first and second ultrasonic vibrators,
- determine when a failure occurs in one of the first and second ultrasonic vibrators, and
- in response to determining that the failure occurs in one of the first and second ultrasonic vibrators, maintain the one of the first and second ultrasonic vibrators in which the failure occurs in an off state, and operate only a remaining one of the first and second ultrasonic vibrators in which the failure did not occur.
