Abstract
A gaming urinal including a play screen within the body of the urinal. The play screen includes a cover over a display and a force detection layer sensitive enough to detect the force a urine stream on the front of the play screen, thereby providing a sort of touch screen where the touch is a urine stream. The play screen provides the ability to play a variety of different games, including but not limited to shape tracing games and target practice games.

A gaming urinal, comprising:
- a urinal body, including a back wall and a lower bowl, wherein the lower bowl includes a drain;
- a play screen extending outwardly from the back wall of the urinal body, the play screen including:
- a transparent cover;
- a display panel;
- and
- a force detection layer;
- wherein the force detection layer is configured to detect a location of force applied by a urine stream on the front of the play screen;
- and
- wherein the display panel interactively changes what is displayed based on where the force is detected by the force detection layer.

- a urinal body, including a back wall and a lower bowl, wherein the lower bowl includes a drain;
- a play screen extending outwardly from the back wall of the urinal body, the play screen including:

- wherein the gaming urinal is configured to communicate with at least one other gaming urinal, and wherein the communication enables the gaming urinal and the at least one other gaming urinal to facilitate a multiplayer, competitive game between users.

A gaming urinal, comprising:
- a urinal body, including a back wall and a lower bowl, wherein the lower bowl includes a drain;
- a play screen extending outwardly from the back wall of the urinal body, the play screen including:
- a transparent cover;
- a display panel;
- a force detection layer, wherein the force detection layer includes a force-sensing resistor (FSR) matrix, one or more piezoelectric sensors, and/or one or more piezoresistive sensors;
- and
- at least one gasket providing a watertight seal;
- wherein the force detection layer is configured to detect a location of force applied by a urine stream on the front of the play screen;
- wherein the display panel interactively changes what is displayed based on where the force is detected by the force detection layer;
- and
- wherein the play screen is positioned at an upward angle relatively to the back wall of the urinal body.
