Claims6
A modified Zea sp. cell comprising at least one targeted modification of a first gene and at least one targeted modification of a second gene, wherein each targeted modification comprises an insertion of a transcription factor binding site, wherein the transcription factor binding site consists of SEQ ID NO:
- 343, wherein the targeted modifications result in increased expression of the first gene and increased expression of the second gene, and wherein the increased expression of the first and second genes are both associated with improved tolerance of abiotic stress relative to a reference cell lacking the modifications.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
