Abstract
The present application relates to a polycarbonate including units represented by Chemical Formula 1a or 1b and Chemical Formula 1c, a composition including the same, and a molded article prepared from the composition.

A polycarbonate comprising a unit represented by the following Chemical Formula 1a or 1b;
- and a unit represented by the following Chemical Formula 1c:
- in Chemical Formulae 1a, 1b and 1c,
- wherein X1 is one selected from a substituted or unsubstituted aliphatic ring and a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring, or a tetravalent group in which two or more of them are linked by a single bond;
- a substituted or unsubstituted straight-chained or branched alkylene;
- O or CO,
- X2 is one selected from a substituted or unsubstituted aliphatic ring and a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring, or a trivalent group in which two or more of them are linked by a single bond;
- a substituted or unsubstituted straight-chained or branched alkylene;
- O or CO,
- L1 to L6 are the same as or different from each other, and are each one selected from a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted straight-chained or branched alkylene, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkylene and a substituted or unsubstituted arylene, or a divalent group in which two or more of them are linked by a single bond,
- a plurality of units of Chemical Formulae 1a, 1b and 1c included in the polycarbonate is each the same as or different from each other, and
- * means a site linked to the main chain of the polycarbonate.
