Abstract
A pH-independent synthesis method for synthesizing polydopamine, which can be carried out under visible light and/or daylight.

A method for synthesizing a polydopamine, the method comprising:
- reacting dopamine and diphenyliodonium with at least one photo-stimulant, the photo-stimulant being at least one of visible light and sunlight.
