Crystalline 4-((L-valyl)oxy)butanoic acid, methods of preparing crystalline 4-((L-valyl)oxy)butanoic acid, pharmaceutical compositions of crystalline 4-((L-valyl)oxy)butanoic acid, and methods of treatment using crystalline 4-((L-valyl)oxy)butanoic acid are disclosed.
Claims30
A crystalline form of 4-((L-valyl)oxy) butanoic acid:
- wherein the crystalline form is characterized by an XRPD pattern comprising characteristic diffraction peaks at least at 8.28°±0.20°, 16.75°±0.20°, and 25.33°±0.20° expressed as °2θ angles determined using Cu-Kα radiation.
A crystalline form of 4-((L-valyl)oxy) butanoic acid:
- wherein the crystalline form has a melting enthalpy from 197 J/g to 207 J/g, wherein the melting enthalpy is determined by differential scanning calorimetry.
A crystalline form of 4-((L-valyl)oxy) butanoic acid:
- wherein the crystalline form has a melting peak temperature from 138.0° C. to 142.0° C., wherein the melting peak temperature is determined by differential scanning calorimetry.
