Abstract
Methods and apparatus for multi-axis precision manipulation are disclosed. An example apparatus to manipulate a component includes a support, a first mount to be coupled to the component, the first mount operatively coupled to the support via a first ball and socket joint that can rotate relative to the first mount, and a second mount to be coupled to the component, the second mount operatively coupled to the support via a second ball and socket joint that can rotate and translate relative to the second mount.

An apparatus to manipulate a component for a vehicle, the apparatus comprising:
- a support;
- a first mount to be coupled to the component, the first mount operatively coupled to the support via a first ball and socket joint, the first ball and socket joint to move in a round opening of the first mount to enable rotation of the first mount relative to the support;
- and
- a second mount to be coupled to the component, the second mount operatively coupled to the support via a second ball and socket joint, the second ball and socket joint to move in a slotted opening of the second mount to enable rotation and translation of the second mount relative to the support.
