Liquid discharge apparatus, coating apparatus, liquid discharge method, and method of manufacturing electrode

A liquid discharge apparatus, comprising:

• a liquid chamber including a discharge orifice;
• a supplier to supply a pressurized liquid to the liquid chamber;
• a first valve to open and close the discharge orifice;
• an actuator to move the first valve;
• and
• a stirrer to stir the pressurized liquid in the liquid chamber,
• wherein:
• the stirrer includes control circuitry configured to control movement of the first valve by the actuator,
• the movement of the first valve includes a first movement in which a valve component is moved from a second position toward a third position and a second movement in which the valve component is reciprocated back and forth between a first position and the third position, the liquid being continuously discharged during movement of the first valve,
• the first position is a position where the discharge orifice is opened by the valve component,
• the second position is a position where the discharge orifice is closed by the valve component, and
• the third position is a position between the first position and the second position.
