Abstract
Provided are a lipid and a composition that can effectively deliver an introduction compound such as a nucleic acid to a target cell, tissue, or the like in vivo. The lipid of the present invention is a lipid represented by the following formula (I), wherein R1 is a hydrocarbon group having 32 to 48 carbon atoms, R2 is a side chain of one arbitrary amino acid or a side chain of a derivative of the amino acid, and R3 is a side chain of a basic amino acid or a side chain of a derivative of the amino acid,
Claims20
A lipid represented by the following formula (I):
- wherein R1 is a hydrocarbon group having 32 to 48 carbon atoms, R2 is a side chain of one arbitrary amino acid or a side chain of a derivative of the arbitrary amino acid, and R3 is a side chain of a basic amino acid or a side chain of a derivative of the basic amino acid, wherein R1 is represented by the following formula (II):
- wherein R11 is a hydrocarbon group having a carbon atoms, and R12 is a hydrocarbon group having b carbon atoms,
- where a and b satisfy 31≤a +b≤47 and 1≤b−a≤18.
