Abstract
The present invention is in the field of antiperspirant compositions, in particular, compositions comprising antiperspirant actives. Disclosed is an antiperspirant composition free from aluminum and/or zirconium salt, and/or zinc based antiperspirant active, comprising an oil-in-water emulsion comprises oil phase and an emulsifier, wherein said oil phase comprises a lipophilic material having a melting point greater than 40° C.; wherein said composition comprises at least 4 wt % of said lipophilic material.

A composition free from aluminum and/or zirconium salt, and/or zinc based antiperspirant active, the composition comprising an oil-in-water emulsion,
- wherein the oil-in-water emulsion comprises an oil phase comprising a lipophilic material having a melting point greater than 48° C. and which is a hydrogenated oil;
- wherein the oil-in-water emulsion comprises a nonionic emulsifier having an HLB value of 9 or lower and a melting point of greater than 40° C.;
- wherein the composition comprises 8 to 35% of the lipophilic material based on total weight of the composition;
- wherein the hydrogenated oil comprises hydrogenated soybean oil;
- wherein the oil-in-water emulsion has a droplet size ranging from 5 to 25 microns;
- wherein the composition comprises 5 to 20 wt % of the nonionic emulsifier based on total weight of the composition;
- and further wherein the composition is a liquid composition that can be dispensed from a roll-on package.
