System with removable hubs for manual and robotic procedure

A system for performing a vascular procedure, comprising:

• a robotic drive system;
• and
• a plurality of hub assemblies operatively coupled to the robotic drive system, the plurality of hub assemblies comprising:
• a first hub assembly comprising:
• a first mount;
• a first hub removably coupled to the first mount;
• and
• a procedure catheter coupled to the first hub;
• and
• a second hub assembly comprising:
• a second mount;
• a second hub removably coupled to the second mount;
• and
• a guide catheter coupled to the second hub;
• wherein the robotic drive system is configured to drive the first hub assembly and the second hub assembly to drive the procedure catheter and the guide catheter within a vasculature of a patient while the procedure catheter is positioned within a lumen of the guide catheter;
• wherein the second hub is configured to be uncoupled from the second mount while the guide catheter is positioned within the vasculature of the patient;
• wherein the second hub is configured to be manually manipulated to navigate the guide catheter to a vascular site while the second hub is uncoupled from the second mount;
• and
• wherein the robotic drive system is configured to withdraw the procedure catheter from the lumen of the guide catheter prior to the second hub being uncoupled from the second mount.
