Methods and systems for detecting an imminent loss of consciousness

A method of detecting imminent loss of consciousness, the method comprising:

• detecting, using at least a respiratory sensor, a respiration parameter associated with a user;
• detecting, using at least a circulatory sensor, a circulation parameter associated with the user, wherein the circulation parameter comprises a pulse rate;
• detecting, using an inspirate sensor, a fluid parameter associated with a fluid, wherein the inspirate sensor and an inhalation sensor module are operable to be configured for fluidic communication, wherein the inhalation sensor module comprises at least one sensor in communication with the inspirate sensor;
• receiving, using at least a processor, the at least a respiration parameter and the at least a circulation parameter;
• generating, using the at least a processor, a first trend analysis for the at least a respiration parameter and a second trend analysis for the pulse rate;
• comparing, using the at least a processor, the first trend analysis of the at least a respiration parameter to the second trend analysis of the pulse rate;
• making, using the at least a processor, at least one determination as a function of at least one of the detected fluid parameter;
• identifying, using the at least a processor, an imminent loss of consciousness event associated with the user as a function of the comparison, wherein identifying the imminent loss of consciousness event comprises determining that the comparison satisfies a threshold condition continuously for at least a predetermined duration;
• and
• alerting, using at least a user interface, the user as a function of the imminent loss of consciousness event wherein the user interface further comprises a bone-conducting transducer.
