Bed skirt system with truncated trapezoidal center section for adjustable bed

A bed skirt for a bed comprising:

• a foot section having a substantially rectangular shape, including a first end, a second end, a top portion, a bottom portion, an outer side, an inner side, a first top corner, and a second top corner;
• a center section having a horizontally oriented truncated trapezoidal shape including a top edge and a bottom edge that are substantially parallel to each other, outer and inner sides, and short angled extensions at lower corners thereof, the center section further including a first top corner and a second top corner, and a top rectangular section disposed substantially parallel to the top edge and having a first top end and a second top end, the top rectangular section having a length less than a distance between the first top corner and the second top corner of the center section;
• a head section having a substantially rectangular shape, including a first end, a second end, a top portion, a bottom portion, an outer side, and an inner side;
• wherein the second top corner of the foot section is joined to the first top end of the center section, and the first top corner of the head section is joined to the second top end of the center section;
• a fastening strip comprising one of (i) a hook fastener, (ii) a loop fastener, or (iii) both, attached along the top edges of the foot section, the center section, and the head section;
• wherein the center section having the horizontally oriented truncated trapezoidal shape includes a first pocket disposed on the inner side at a first bottom trapezoidal corner and a second pocket disposed on the inner side at a second bottom trapezoidal corner;
• and
• a horizontal bar having a first end received in the first pocket and a second end received in the second pocket, the horizontal bar being substantially parallel to the bottom edge.
