Abstract
An agricultural system having at least two connectors for moving a first tool with a first marker and a method are configured to check a controllability of the tool by connecting a first actuator with at least one of the least two connectors for moving the first tool in a first degree of freedom, triggering an actuation via one connector, receiving sensor information from a sensor unit capturing a first marker connected with the first tool and determining whether the first marker moves in the first degree of freedom in response to the triggered actuation via the one connector.
Claims19
An agricultural system, comprising:
- a vehicle interface with at least two connectors for connecting at least one actuator;
- an implement comprising:
- a chassis member;
- a first tool relatively moveable in a first degree of freedom in respect of the chassis member;
- and
- a first marker assigned to the first tool;
- the agricultural system further comprising:
- a sensor unit configured to capture the first marker;
- a first actuator connectable with at least one of the at least two connectors for moving the first tool in the first degree of freedom;
- and
- a control unit configured to:
- receive sensor information from the sensor unit;
- trigger an actuation via one of the at least two connectors;
- determine whether the first marker moves in the first degree of freedom only or in a first and a second degree of freedom in response to the triggered actuation via the one connector;
- responsive to determining that the first marker does not move in the first degree of freedom in response to the triggered actuation via the one connector, output an error to indicate that the first marker may be connected to a wrong connector of the vehicle or unconnected;
- and
- responsive to determining that the first marker does not move in the first degree of freedom in response to the triggered actuation via the one connector, output an indication that the first marker is actuating as expected.
A method of checking a controllability of a tool of an agricultural system having at least two connectors for moving a first tool comprising a first marker, the method comprising:
- connecting a first actuator with at least one of the least two connectors for moving the first tool in a first degree of freedom;
- triggering an actuation via one connector;
- receiving sensor information from a sensor unit capturing a first marker assigned to the first tool;
- determining whether the first marker moves in the first degree of freedom only or in a first and a second degree of freedom in response to the triggered actuation via the one connector;
- responsive to determining that the first marker does not move in the first degree of freedom in response to the triggered actuation via the one connector, outputting an error to indicate that the first marker may be connected to a wrong connector of the vehicle or unconnected;
- and
- responsive to determining that the first marker does not move in the first degree of freedom in response to the triggered actuation via the one connector, outputting an indication that the first marker is actuating as expected.
