Video special effect processing method and apparatus, and electronic device

An electronic device, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• memory storing one or more programs, the one or more programs comprising instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
• extracting a duration scaling interval and a corresponding duration scaling type from a video special effect file;
• obtaining a target playback duration during application of the video special effect file to a design scene, wherein the target playback duration is dependent on the design scene and the target playback duration is longer than the duration scaling interval;
• determining a plurality of special effect frames corresponding to a target timeline in the video special effect file according to (i) a difference between the target playback duration and the duration scaling interval and (ii) the corresponding duration scaling type of the video special effect file;
• and
• rendering a plurality of frames of a video for the design scene according to the plurality of special effect frames based on a principle of proximity to obtain a target video special effect that matches the target playback duration, wherein a count of the plurality of frames is greater than a count of plurality of special effect frames.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, storing a computer program, the computer program, when executed by one or more processors of an electronic device, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• extracting a duration scaling interval and a corresponding duration scaling type from a video special effect file;
• obtaining a target playback duration during application of the video special effect file to a design scene, wherein the target playback duration is dependent on the design scene and the target playback duration is longer than the duration scaling interval;
• determining a plurality of special effect frames corresponding to a target timeline in the video special effect file according to (i) a difference between the target playback duration and the duration scaling interval and (ii) the corresponding duration scaling type of the video special effect file;
• and
• rendering a plurality of frames of a video for the design scene according to the plurality of special effect frames based on a principle of proximity to obtain a target video special effect that matches the target playback duration, wherein a count of the plurality of frames is greater than a count of plurality of special effect frames.
