Abstract
In one implementation, a method of providing feedback regarding content consumption is performed at a device including a display, one or more processors, and non-transitory memory. The method includes receiving, from a user, input defining a first content consumption preference that specifies a preferred amount of content of a first type. The method includes transmitting, to a first content provider, data indicative of the first content consumption preference. The method includes determining an amount of content of the first type from the first content provider consumed by the user. The method includes providing, to the user, feedback regarding the amount of content of the first type from the first content provider consumed by the user.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- at a device with a display, one or more processors, and non-transitory memory:
- receiving, from a user, input defining a first content consumption preference that specifies a preferred amount of content of a first type;
- transmitting, to a first content provider, data indicative of the first content consumption preference, wherein each item from the first content provider has content of multiple types;
- determining an amount of content of the first type from the first content provider consumed by the user;
- and
- providing, to the user, feedback regarding the amount of content of the first type from the first content provider consumed by the user.
A device comprising:
- a display;
- non-transitory memory;
- and
- one or more processors to:
- receive, from a user, input defining a first content consumption preference that specifies a preferred amount of content of a first type;
- transmit, to a first content provider, data indicative of the first content consumption preference, wherein each item from the first content provider has content of multiple types;
- determine an amount of content of the first type from the first content provider consumed by the user;
- and
- provide, to the user, feedback regarding the amount of content of the first type from the first content provider consumed by the user.
A non-transitory memory storing one or more programs, which, when executed by one or more processors of a device including a display, cause the device to:
- receive, from a user, input defining a first content consumption preference that specifies a preferred amount of content of a first type;
- transmit, to a first content provider, data indicative of the first content consumption preference, wherein each item from the first content provider has content of multiple types;
- determine an amount of content of the first type from the first content provider consumed by the user;
- and
- provide, to the user, feedback regarding the amount of content of the first type from the first content provider consumed by the user.
