Abstract
A method for a user equipment (UE) service management network element in a communication network, comprising: receiving a first request, and in response to determining that the first request is to request the UE service management network element to be an intermediate UE service management network element for a service of a UE, sending a second request to another UE service management network element indicated in the first request, and receiving a response corresponding to the second request, wherein the response comprises Internet Protocol (IP) address information of the UE.
Claims13
A method for a user equipment (UE) service management network element in a communication network, comprising:
- receiving a first request, wherein the first request is a Nsmf_PDUSession_CreateSMContext Request to request insertion of the UE service management network element as an intermediate UE service management network element for a service of a UE;
- and
- in response to determining that the first request is to request the UE service management network element to be the intermediate UE service management network element for the service of the UE:
- sending a second request to another UE service management network element indicated in the first request, wherein the second request is a Nsmf_PDUSession_Create Request for creating the service of the UE;
- and
- receiving a first response corresponding to the second request, wherein the first response comprises Internet Protocol (IP) address information of the UE.
A communication device in a communication network, comprising:
- a storage, adapted to store instructions therein;
- and
- a processor, adapted to execute the instructions to cause the communication device to:
- receive a first request, wherein the first request is a Nsmf_PDUSession_CreateSMContext Request to request insertion of a user equipment (UE) service management network element as an intermediate UE service management network element for a service of a UE;
- and
- in response to a determination that the first request is to request the UE service management network element to be the intermediate UE service management network element for the service of the UE:
- send a second request to another UE service management network element indicated in the first request, wherein the second request is a Nsmf_PDUSession_Create Request for creating the service of the UE;
- and
- receive a first response corresponding to the second request, wherein the first response comprises Internet Protocol (IP) address information of the UE.
