Abstract
An alkali metal ion conductive solid electrolyte including an organic polymer having an alkali metal sulfonate group, wherein the alkali metal sulfonate group is a part of an alkali metal alkyl sulfonate group represented by a formula: —R—SO3X (where R is an alkylene group and X is an alkali metal atom), the organic polymer may be a derivative of a polysaccharide, and the mass (EW value) of the organic polymer per 1 mol of the alkali metal sulfonate group is 168 g/mol or more and 300 g/mol or less.
Claims12
A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising:
- a positive electrode,
- a negative electrode,
- a non-aqueous electrolyte, and
- an alkali metal ion conductive solid electrolyte, wherein
- the non-aqueous electrolyte includes a non-aqueous electrolyte and a lithium salt dissolved in the non-aqueous electrolyte,
- the alkali metal ion conductive solid electrolyte comprising an organic polymer having a lithium sulfonate group, and
- a mass (EW value) of the organic polymer per 1 mol of the lithium sulfonate group is 168 g/mol or more and 300 g/mol or less.
A nonporous separator for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery including an alkali metal ion conductive solid electrolyte comprising an organic polymer having an alkali metal ion sulfonate group.
A method for producing an alkali metal ion conductive solid electrolyte, the method including a step of adding a halogenated alkyl sulfonate to an alkaline solution including a raw material organic polymer having a plurality of hydroxyl groups, to replace at least one hydrogen atom of the hydroxyl group with an alkyl sulfonate group represented by a formula:
- —R—SO3X (where R is an alkylene group and X is an alkali metal atom), and further including a step of exchanging the alkali metal atom X with an Li ion.
