Safety-dependent vehicle-to-everything (V2X) transmission

A user equipment (UE) for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) transmission, wherein the UE, the UE comprising:

• at least one transceiver;
• at least one memory;
• and
• at least one processor, coupled with the at least one transceiver and the at least one memory, the at least one processor configured to:
• detect a second trajectory associated with a second position of a second UE with respect to a first trajectory associated with a first position of the UE;
• generate an alert time window for transmission of an alert from the first UE to the second UE based on the first trajectory associated with the first position of the UE and the second trajectory associated with the second position of the second UE, wherein the alert time window comprises an early window, a useful window, and a late window, and wherein the early window precedes the useful window in time, and the useful window precedes the late window in time;
• and
• transmit an alert from the first UE to the second UE during the useful window of the alert time window.

A user equipment (UE) for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) transmission, wherein the UE, the UE comprising:

• means for detecting a second trajectory of a second position of a second UE with respect to a first trajectory of a first position of the UE;
• means for generating an alert time window for transmission of an alert from the first UE to the second UE based on the first trajectory of the first position of the UE and the second trajectory of the second position of the second UE, wherein the alert time window comprises an early window, a useful window, and a late window, and wherein the early window precedes the useful window in time, and the useful window precedes the late window in time;
• and
• means for transmitting an alert from the UE to the second UE during the useful window of the alert time window.
