Abstract
A computer-implemented method that, when executed by data processing hardware, causes the data processing hardware to perform operations comprising uploading one or more vehicle passes to a database in communication with a vehicle, associating the one or more vehicle passes with one or more display criteria stored in the database, determining whether the one or more display criteria are present, and displaying one of the one or more vehicle passes on one or more displays arranged on the vehicle based on the one or more display criteria.
Claims19
A computer-implemented method that, when executed by data processing hardware, causes the data processing hardware to perform operations comprising:
- obtaining, using an infotainment system of a vehicle, a first password from an operator of the vehicle;
- determining that the first password from the operator matches a second password associated with a driver profile of the vehicle;
- based on the first password matching the second password, uploading a vehicle pass to memory hardware in communication with the vehicle, wherein the vehicle pass includes medical information for the operator;
- associating the vehicle pass with display criteria stored in the memory hardware, wherein the display criteria comprise whether the vehicle has been involved in an accident;
- determining that the display criteria are present;
- and
- based on determining that the display criteria are present, displaying the vehicle pass on one or more electronic displays arranged on the vehicle on at least one of a windshield, a rear window, or a side window of the vehicle such that the one or more electronic displays are externally viewable from outside the vehicle.
A system comprising:
- one or more electronic displays arranged on a vehicle on at least one of a windshield, a rear window, or a side window of the vehicle such that the one or more electronic displays are externally viewable from outside the vehicle;
- an infotainment system;
- data processing hardware;
- and
- memory hardware in communication with the data processing hardware, the memory hardware storing instructions that, when executed on the data processing hardware, cause the data processing hardware to perform operations comprising:
- obtaining, using the infotainment system, a first password from an operator of the vehicle;
- determining that the first password from the operator matches a second password associated with a driver profile of the vehicle;
- based on the first password matching the second password, uploading a vehicle pass to the memory hardware;
- associating the vehicle pass with display criteria stored in the memory hardware, wherein the display criteria comprise whether the vehicle has been involved in an accident;
- determining that the display criteria are present;
- and
- based on determining that the display criteria are present, displaying the vehicle pass on the one or more electronic displays.
A vehicle management system of a vehicle, comprising:
- a sensor system including one or more sensors coupled to the vehicle;
- an infotainment system;
- one or more electronic displays arranged on the vehicle on at least one of a windshield, a rear window, or a side window of the vehicle such that the one or more electronic displays are externally viewable from outside the vehicle;
- data processing hardware;
- and
- memory hardware in communication with the data processing hardware, the memory hardware storing instructions that, when executed on the data processing hardware, cause the data processing hardware to perform operations comprising:
- obtaining, using the infotainment system, a first password from an operator of the vehicle;
- determining that the first password from the operator matches a second password associated with a driver profile of the vehicle;
- based on the first password matching the second password, uploading a vehicle pass to the memory hardware;
- associating the vehicle pass with display criteria stored in the memory hardware, wherein the display criteria comprise whether the vehicle has been involved in an accident;
- determining that the display criteria are present;
- and
- based on determining that the display criteria are present, displaying the vehicle pass on the one or more electronic displays.
