Abstract
An information processing device includes a processor configured to: successively execute two or more processes as processes for reading character information and converting the character information into data, and thereby output processing results; receive an operation by a user with respect to the outputted processing results; and display, on a display device and in response to the operation, a progress of the individual processes among the two or more processes leading up to the processing results.
Claims18
An information processing device comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- successively execute two or more sub-processes as sub-processes in an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) process for reading character information and converting the character information into data, and thereby output final OCR processing results;
- receive an operation by a user with respect to the outputted processing results;
- display, on a display device and in response to the operation, a progress of the individual sub-processes among the two or more sub-processes leading up to the processing results, the progress indicating the result of each sub-process and the final OCR processing result of the OCR process, wherein
- the two or more sub-processes in the OCR process include at least one of:
- a correction sub-process for correcting intermediate data obtained from a preceding sub-process, the display of the progress of the processes related to the correction sub-process being controlled by the processor such that one or a plurality of correction candidates are displayed;
- or
- a conversion sub-process for converting intermediate data obtained from a preceding sub-process, the display of the progress of the sub-processes related to the conversion sub-process being controlled by the processor such that one or a plurality of conversion candidates are displayed;
- and
- control the display of the progress of the correction sub-process and the conversion sub-process such that, in relation to the correction candidate and the conversion candidate, an indication of a validity of the correction candidate and the conversion candidate is displayed, the validity being determined on a basis of a predetermined standard.
An information processing method comprising:
- successively executing two or more sub-processes as sub-processes in an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) process for reading character information and converting the character information into data, and thereby outputting final OCR processing results;
- receiving an operation by a user with respect to the outputted processing results;
- displaying, on a display device and in response to the operation, a progress of the individual sub-processes among the two or more sub-processes leading up to the processing results, the progress indicating the result of each sub-process and the final OCR processing result of the OCR process, wherein
- the two or more sub-processes in the OCR process include at least one of:
- a correction sub-process for correcting intermediate data obtained from a preceding sub-process, and controlling the display of the progress of the processes related to the correction sub-process such that one or a plurality of correction candidates are displayed;
- or
- a conversion sub-process for converting intermediate data obtained from a preceding sub-process, and controlling the display of the progress of the sub-processes related to the conversion sub-process such that one or a plurality of conversion candidates are displayed;
- and
- controlling the display of the progress of the correction sub-process and the conversion sub-process such that, in relation to the correction candidate and the conversion candidate, an indication of a validity of the correction candidate and the conversion candidate is displayed, the validity being determined on a basis of a predetermined standard.
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process comprising:
- successively executing two or more sub-processes as sub-processes in an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) process for reading character information and converting the character information into data, and thereby outputting final OCR processing results;
- receiving an operation by a user with respect to the outputted processing results;
- a correction sub-process for correcting intermediate data obtained from a preceding sub-process, and controlling the display of the progress of the processes related to the correction sub-process such that one or a plurality of correction candidates are displayed;
- or
- a conversion sub-process for converting intermediate data obtained from a preceding sub-process, and controlling the display of the progress of the sub-processes related to the conversion sub-process such that one or a plurality of conversion candidates are displayed;
- and
- controlling the display of the progress of the correction sub-process and the conversion sub-process such that, in relation to the correction candidate and the conversion candidate, an indication of a validity of the correction candidate and the conversion candidate is displayed, the validity being determined on a basis of a predetermined standard.
