Systems and methods for template image edits

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• an input/output component, communicatively coupled to at least one of the one or more processors, for receiving input from and displaying information to a user;
• and
• a non-transitory computer-readable medium or media comprising one or more sets of instructions which, when executed by at least one of the one or more processors, causes steps to be performed comprising:
• storing template data for a particular image associated with the user, wherein the template data includes a sequence of sets of edit instructions, wherein each set of edit instructions corresponds to a version of the particular image associated with the user;
• wherein a sequence of edited image versions of the particular image of the user includes an initial version of the particular image, a sequence of subsequent edited versions of the particular image and a final edited version of the particular image, thereby each image in the sequence of edited image versions corresponds to a version of the particular image associated with the user;
• wherein, when a first set of edit instructions in the sequence of sets of edit instructions is applied to the initial version of the particular image associated with the user, a first version in the sequence of subsequent edited versions of the particular image is generated, and when each next set of edit instructions in the sequence of sets of edit instructions is applied, the next version in the sequence of subsequent edited version of the particular image is generated until the final edited version of the particular image associated with the same user;
• displaying a sequence of thumbnail images corresponding to the sequence of edited image versions of the particular image associated with the same user from the initial version of the particular image to the final edited version of the particular image associated with the same user, each next image version of the sequence of edited image versions associated with a corresponding set of edit instructions in the sequence of sets of edit instructions of the template data of the particular image.
