Abstract
An object management system according to one embodiment receives, from a user terminal, inquiry data indicating a combination of a target virtual object and a target parent object, refers to a database storing object relationship data indicating a hierarchical relationship between a plurality of objects, and allows the user terminal arrangement of the target virtual object in the virtual space when the combination indicated by the inquiry data is registered in the object relationship data, and disallows the arrangement of the user terminal when the combination is not registered in the object relationship data.
Claims17
An object management system, comprising at least one processor configured to:
- receive, from a user terminal via a communication network, inquiry data generated by the user terminal, the inquiry data including a first combination of an ID of a target virtual object and an ID of a target parent object of the target virtual object;
- refer to a database storing object relationship data including a hierarchical relationship between a plurality of objects, the hierarchical relationship including a second combination of IDs of the plurality of objects and further including a physical positional relationship in a virtual space between the plurality of objects defined by the second combination of the IDs;
- determine whether the first combination included in the received inquiry data matches the second combination included in the hierarchical relationship in the object relationship data stored in the database;
- and
- allow the user terminal arrangement of the target virtual object in the virtual space based on the physical positional relationship included in the hierarchical relationship in the object relationship data if the first combination matches the second combination, and disallow the user terminal the arrangement if the first combination does not match the second combination, wherein in response to the arrangement being allowed, the user terminal displays the virtual space including the target virtual object.
An object management method executable in an object management system comprising at least one processor, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a user terminal via a communication network, inquiry data generated by the user terminal, the inquiry data including a first combination of an ID of a target virtual object and an ID of a target parent object of the target virtual object;
- referring to a database storing object relationship data including a hierarchical relationship between a plurality of objects, the hierarchical relationship including a second combination of IDs of the plurality of objects and further including a physical positional relationship in a virtual space between the plurality of objects defined by the second combination of the IDs;
- determining whether the first combination included in the received inquiry data matches the second combination included in the hierarchical relationship in the object relationship data stored in the database;
- and
- allowing the user terminal arrangement of the target virtual object in the virtual space based on the physical positional relationship included in the hierarchical relationship in the object relationship data if the first combination matches the second combination, and disallowing the user terminal the arrangement if the first combination does not match the second combination, wherein in response to the arrangement being allowed, the user terminal displaying the virtual space including the target virtual object.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising an object management program stored thereon, that when executed by a computer, causes the computer to:
- receive, from a user terminal via a communication network, inquiry data generated by the user terminal, the inquiry data including a first combination of an ID of a target virtual object and an ID of a target parent object of the target virtual object;
- refer to a database storing object relationship data including a hierarchical relationship between a plurality of objects, the hierarchical relationship including a second combination of IDs of the plurality of objects and further including a physical positional relationship in a virtual space between the plurality of objects defined by the second combination of the IDs;
- determine whether the first combination included in the received inquiry data matches the second combination included in the hierarchical relationship in the object relationship data stored in the database;
- and
- allow the user terminal arrangement of the target virtual object in the virtual space based on the physical positional relationship included in the hierarchical relationship in the object relationship data if the first combination matches the second combination, and disallow the user terminal the arrangement if the first combination does not match the second combination, wherein in response to the arrangement being allowed, the user terminal displays the virtual space including the target virtual object.
