Abstract
An information processing device includes: an operation processor; a storage in which an initial password being an initial setting of an administrator password is prestored; a logger that logs details of operations inputted using the operation processor, in the storage as operation history information; a password entry monitor that confirms whether or not the administrator password has been entered; a password changer that changes, upon a confirmation that a password differing from the initial password has been entered, the administrator password and stores the entered password as a new administrator password; and a log presenter that presents the operation history information when the administrator password has been changed.

An image forming apparatus comprising:
- a display;
- and
- one or more controllers,
- wherein, after the image forming apparatus starts, the one or more controllers:
- display, until an administrator password is changed from an initial password, on the display, a first screen that includes a request to set the administrator password and does not include a first selection area for selecting functions including at least copying;
- display, after the administrator password is changed, on the display, a second screen that does not include the request to set the administrator password and includes the first selection area for selecting the functions including the at least copying;
- display, on the first screen, a second selection area for cancelling the request to set the administrator password;
- in a case that the second selection area is selected, display, on the display, the second screen, which is the same as the second screen displayed after the administrator password is changed;
- and
- before accepting an entry of a new administrator password to change the administrator password from the initial password, request authentication of an administrator based on the initial password, and
- wherein the initial password is an initial setting of the administrator password.

- in a case that the administrator password is changed from the initial password while the fourth screen is displayed, display, on the display, operation history information that shows a detailed history of operations inputted between a first start-up of the image forming apparatus and the change of the administrator password.

- starting the image forming apparatus;
- displaying, after the image forming apparatus starts, a plurality of screens comprising:
- a first screen on a display until an administrator password is changed from an initial password, the first screen including a request to set the administrator password and not including a first selection area for selecting functions including at least copying, and
- a second screen on the display after the administrator password is changed, the second screen not including the request to set the administrator password and including the first selection area for selecting the functions including the at least copying;

- in a case that the second selection area is selected, displaying, on the display, the second screen, which is the same as the second screen displayed after the administrator password is changed;
