Information processing system, information processing apparatus and information processing method

An information processing method comprising:

• receiving a request for using a service from an electronic device connected to an information processing system via a network;
• determining a first number of devices in response to the request, the first number of devices indicating a number of devices using the service requested in the request;
• determining whether the first number of devices is below a maximum number of devices using the service based on a contract;
• transmitting an application screen to the electronic device based on determining that the first number of devices is below the maximum number;
• and
• transmitting an error notification to the electronic device based on determining that the first number of devices is not below the maximum number.

An information processing apparatus, comprising:

• circuitry configured to:
• receive a request for using a service from an electronic device connected to the information processing apparatus via a network;
• determine a first number of devices in response to the request, the first number of devices indicating a number of devices using the service requested in the request;
• determine, whether the first number of devices is below a maximum number of devices using the service based on a contract;
• transmit an application screen to the electronic device based on determining that the first number of devices is below the maximum number;
• and
• transmit an error notification to the electronic device based on determining that the first number of devices is not below the maximum number.
