Abstract
A system monitors an information handling system to detect an event associated with a picture-in-picture window. In response to detecting the event, the system determines a new state of the picture-in-picture window based on the event and a current state of the picture-in-picture window, and applies configuration settings to the picture-in-picture window based on the new state.
Claims17
A method comprising:
- detecting, by a processor of a display device, an event associated with a picture-in-picture window associated with a first information handling system, wherein the display device includes a primary window associated with a second information handling system, wherein the first information handling system is discrete from the second information handling system, wherein the event is triggered based on a central processing unit utilization level;
- in response to detecting the event, determining a new state of the picture-in-picture window based on the event and a current state of the picture-in-picture window;
- and
- resizing the picture-in-picture window from a first size resolution to a second size resolution based on the new state, and wherein the picture-in-picture window is disposed proximate to the primary window;
- and
- altering transparency of the picture-in-picture window from a first transparency to a second transparency based on size of the picture-in-picture window, wherein the first transparency is associated with the first size resolution and the second transparency is associated with the second size resolution.
3 more elements
An information handling system, comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory storing instructions that when executed cause the processor to perform operations including:
- detecting by a display device, an event associated with a picture-in-picture window associated with the information handling system, wherein the display device includes a primary window associated with another information handling system, wherein the information handling system is discrete from the other information handling system, wherein the event is triggered based on a central processing unit utilization level;
- in response to detecting the event, determining a new state of the picture-in-picture window based on the event and a current state of the picture-in-picture window;
- resizing the picture-in-picture window from a first size resolution to a second size resolution based on the new state, and wherein the picture-in-picture window is disposed proximate to the primary window;
- and
- altering transparency of the picture-in-picture window from a first transparency to a second transparency based on size of the picture-in-picture window, wherein the first transparency is associated with the first size resolution and the second transparency is associated with the second size resolution.
5 more elements
A non-transitory computer-readable medium to store instructions that are executable to perform operations comprising:
- detecting by a display device, an event associated with a picture-in-picture window associated with a first information handling system, wherein the display device includes a primary window associated with a second information handling system, wherein the first information handling system is discrete from the second information handling system, wherein the event is triggered based on a central processing unit utilization level;
- in response to detecting the event, determining a new state of the picture-in-picture window based on the event and a current state of the picture-in-picture window;
- resizing the picture-in-picture window from a first size resolution to a second size resolution based on the new state, and wherein the picture-in-picture window is disposed proximate to the primary window;
- and
- altering transparency of the picture-in-picture window from a first transparency to a second transparency based on size of the picture-in-picture window, wherein the first transparency is associated with the first size resolution and the second transparency is associated with the second size resolution.
