Abstract
Disclosed is an image forming system including a fixing device that fixes a toner image onto a recording medium. The fixing device includes: a belt; and a roller that includes: a first roller that stretches the belt; or a first roller that stretches the belt, and a second roller rotatably disposed in pressure contact with an outer peripheral surface of the belt, at least one of the roller includes a base body containing aluminum as a main component, the base body contains silicon in an amount exceeding 0.60% by mass, a standard deviation of a shape factor of toner base particles is 0.045 or less, and a variation coefficient of a volume average particle size of the toner base particles is 28.0% or less.

An image forming system comprising a toner for forming a toner image and a fixing device configured to fix the toner image onto a recording medium,
- wherein the fixing device includes:
- a belt;
- and
- one or more rollers including:
- a first roller that stretches the belt and, optionally, a second roller rotatably disposed in pressure contact with an outer peripheral surface of the belt,
- wherein at least one of the one or more rollers includes a base body containing aluminum as a main component, wherein the base body contains silicon in an amount exceeding 0.60% by mass, and
- wherein toner base particles of the toner have a standard deviation of a shape factor of 0.045 or less, and have a variation coefficient of a volume average particle size of 28.0% or less.
