Abstract
The present invention relates to a system for measuring of a concentration parameter of a flow of a solid/liquid mixture (M), the system comprising; an antenna arrangement for feeding electromagnetic energy into the a volume of mixture under test and receiving a response back from the volume of the mixture under test, wherein the antenna arrangement comprises a ring shaped conductive antenna member having an opening for passing the flow of solid/liquid mixture (M) there through, wherein the ring shaped conductive antenna member and the opening thereof define the measurement volume of mixture under test.
Claims22
A system for measuring of a concentration parameter of a flow of a solid/liquid mixture, the system comprising;
- an antenna arrangement for feeding electromagnetic energy into a volume of mixture under test, and receiving an electromagnetic response back from the volume of mixture under test,
- an electromagnetic signal power source operationally coupled with the antenna arrangement,
- an evaluation unit operationally coupled with the antenna arrangement for evaluating the electromagnetic response back from the volume of mixture under test,
- wherein the antenna arrangement comprises an isolated ring shaped conductive antenna member having an opening for passing the flow of solid/liquid mixture there through, wherein the ring shaped conductive antenna member and the opening thereof define the volume of mixture under test, and wherein the electromagnetic signal power source and the ring shaped conductive antenna member are configured such that the antenna arrangement provides a transmission path of an electromagnetic wave through the mixture under test.
