Global cooling via aircraft

A machine configured to cool a climate, wherein the machine comprises:

• a storage device that stores program instructions;
• one or more processors operably connected to the storage device and configured to execute the program instructions to:
• receive input of an origin and a destination for an aircraft;
• identify, according to real-time and historic observations, atmospheric zones favorable to cloud elimination or thinning by an aircraft flying through them, the atmospheric zones being between or within a range of the aircraft from the origin and the destination;
• generate, for each one of the atmospheric zones favorable to cloud elimination or thinning, routes of flight comprising respectively, a departure time and a flight route from the origin to the destination that flies through at least one of the each one of the atmospheric zones;
• overlay each flight route and departure time, respectively, on a map of emissivity from a terrain below the route of flight;
• estimate an amount of cloud eliminated or thinned, respectively, by each flight route;
• apply wind induced drift to clouds eliminated or thinned, respectively, by each flight route;
• generate, using the map of emissivity and each flight route, a value of energy forcing, respectively, for each flight route;
• estimate, in a prediction model, a nonrepeat energy forcing value for a nonrepeat flight route from the origin to the destination;
• define, in real time, a cooling route from among the routes of flight comprising the value of energy forcing less than the nonrepeat energy forcing value;
• a control system in the aircraft configured to receive the cooling route and to fly the aircraft along the cooling route.
