Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method for changing color of a panel and a home appliance and the method for changing color of a panel includes providing graphic objects and color control buttons corresponding to a plurality of panels of the home appliance; receiving selected color information; and controlling a lighting device to make the panel shine according to received color information.
Claims18
A method for changing a color of a home appliance, the method comprising:
- displaying a user interface on a display panel of the home appliance, the user interface including:
- graphic objects corresponding to a plurality of panels of the home appliance;
- and
- color control buttons for controlling a color displayed on the plurality of panels;
- receiving a selection, via the user interface, of one of the plurality of panels and an input to the color control buttons;
- and
- controlling a lighting device of the home appliance to make the selected panel display color in accordance with the input to the color control buttons,
- wherein each of the plurality of panels has a first color when the lighting device is turned off, and
- wherein the controlling the lighting device includes emitting light, by the lighting device, in a second color so that the selected panel displays a third color according to the input of the color control buttons.

A method for changing a color of a home appliance, the method comprising:
- displaying a user interface on a display panel, the user interface including:
- graphic objects corresponding to a plurality of panels of the home appliance;
- and
- a plurality of theme graphic objects;
- receiving a selection, via the user interface, of one of the plurality of panels and one of the plurality of theme graphic objects;
- and
- controlling a lighting device of the home appliance to make the selected panel display color in accordance with theme information corresponding to the selected theme graphic object,
- wherein each of the plurality of panels has a first color when the lighting device is turned off, and
- wherein the controlling the lighting device includes emitting light, by the lighting device, in at least one second color so that the selected panel displays at least one third color according to an input of the selected theme graphic object.

A home appliance, comprising:
- a cabinet including a storage space;
- a door configured to open and close the storage space, the door including:
- a panel forming a front surface of the cabinet;
- and
- a lighting device configured to emit light;
- a user interface including a color control button for controlling a color displayed on the panel;
- and
- a controller configured to control the lighting device to change the color displayed on the panel according to an input to the color control button,
- wherein the panel has a first color when the lighting device is turned off, and
- wherein the controller is controlled to control the lighting device to emit light in a second color so that a third color is displayed on the panel, according to the input to the color control button.
